Ajanta Caves:
One Hundred and seven Kilometers north-east
of Aurangabad are the remarkable rock-cut monuments of Ajanta,
containing important examples of Buddhist Architecture and
sculpture, and what is undoubtedly the finest and most complete
examples of early Buddhist paintings of India. The cave
temples are cut into the rocky sites of dramatic cresent
shaped gorge at the head of which is a waterfall that feeds
the natural pool, the Saptakunda.
Ellora Caves:
The celebrated group of cave-temples at
Ellora is located twenty six kilometers north of Aurangabad.
The monuments are evacuated out of the vertical face of
the Khultabad escarpment of face westwards towards the deccan
plains. Despite a strictly linear arrangement, the dramatic
focus of the site is undoubtedly the magnificent achievement
of cave 16, the famous Kailasa. (The largest Monolithic
structure in the world).

Day 1: Arrive in Mumbai
Arrive in Mumbai in the evening. Our representative will
escort you to the hotel. Check in and relax for the evening.
Visit the local markets for souvenirs. Overnight stay at
the hotel in Mumbai.
Day 2: Mumbai - Aurangabad
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the airport from
where you will board the flight to Aurangabad. Check in
at the hotel on arrival and relax. Go on a sightseeing tour
of Aurangabad. Visit Bibi-ka-Maqbara, Panchakki, Himroo
Factory, Killa Arrack, Jama Masjid, Kali Masjid, Shah Ganj
Mosque, Chauk Masjid and Lal Masjid. Overnight stay at a
hotel in Aurangabad.
Day 3: Aurangabad
After breakfast at the hotel, move for a full day excursion
to the Ajanta Caves. Return to Aurangabad for an overnight
stay at the hotel.
Day 4: Aurangabad
After breakfast at the hotel, go on another full day excursion
to Ellora. Visit Ellora Caves and the Kailash Temple followed
by tours to the Aurangabad caves and the Daulatabad Fort
on the outskirts of the city. Return to Aurangabad for an
overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 5: Aurangabad - Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for Mumbai in the morning
by air. Check in at the hotel on
arrival and proceed for a short excursion to the Elephanta Caves. Return to a sightseeing tour of Mumbai. Visit the Gateway of India, Marine Drive, Chowpatty beach and Victoria Terminus. Overnight stay at the hotel in Mumbai.
Day 6: Mumbai - Goa
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the airport where
you will board a flight to Goa. Check in at the hotel on
arrival. Relax on the beaches, go for a swim, attend a beach
party or go to the local flea market. Overnight stay at
the hotel in Goa.
Day 7: Goa
After breakfast at the hotel, go for a sightseeing tour
of Goa. Visit the churches, forts, beaches, temples and
fishing villages of Goa. Overnight stay at the hotel in
Goa.
Day 8: Goa - Mumbai
After breakfast at the hotel, leave for the airport. Take
a flight back to Mumbai. Check in at the hotel and go for
a sightseeing tour of Mumbai. This time, visit the Prince
of Wales Museum, Jehangir Art Gallery, Colaba, Kala Ghoda,
Malabar Hills, Flora Fountain, Horniman Circle, Bombay University,
High Court, Bombay film industry studios and Walkeshwar
Mandir. Overnight stay at the hotel in Mumbai.
Day 9: Departure from Mumbai
After breakfast at hotel, leave for the domestic or international
airport, or the railway station form where you will board
the next flight or train heading back home.
